Fall Break Recap/Instagram Round-Up

If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, then you might know that last Wednesday through the weekend was my fall break, and I spent my time off in Orlando. I left Miami around 11:30 on Wednesday morning, right after my last exam, so I got to my friend Colleen's (if you're reading this,  Colleen, thanks again for letting me live with you for four days and for putting up with all my picture-taking <3) apartment near UCF around 3:15. Once she got back at five, we hung out for a bit before heading out to this outdoor shop/town center-type place. We had dinner at Toojay's because I had been craving their tuna melt and fries hardcore, and comfort food at its finest, #amirite?

After dinner, we got cupcakes next door from this place called Sweet. I don't think I've ever seen a more extensive cupcake menu, and the s'mores one that I finally decided on was possibly the best cupcake I've ever eaten (and I've eaten many). After that, we wandered into a few stores, among them this absurdly giant Target at which Colleen bought nothing but three mini pumpkins.

Thursday // Thursday was off to kind of a late start, but it might have been my favorite day. We headed out to Donut King in Winter Park where, once again, there was an absurdly huge selection of baked goods. Chocolate-frosted sour cream, for me.

After doughnutting, we drove to the historic/downtown area of Winter Park where Rollins College is and explored that area. A walk through Pottery Barn, lunch at Burger-Fi, and coffee at Barnie's CoffeeKitchen were all part of the exploring.

After hanging out at Colleen's apartment for a bit, we drove over to Downtown Disney— I mean Disney Springs (I'm still not used to the name change because I didn't even know it had changed)— and I got what I went there for: an ornament from the Disney Christmas shop, obviously. We ended the day with a late-night Taco Bell run because Taco Bell is oddly satisfying after midnight.

Friday // Friday was mostly uneventful. Colleen had some work stuff, so while she was doing that, I drove out to Panera for lunch and to Target to buy some deodorant.

And... Saturday was Magic Kingdom day! I'll let the photos do most of the talking, but the weather was absolutely perfect, and I finally tried Chick-Fil-A breakfast.

Well, that's about it! I drove home Sunday, but I will say that this not-a-huge-Disney fan is actually pretty excited to go back in December :)
